Campus Is Currently Not Accepting Students

ISU is a large state school with a small school feel, consisting of 6 colleges and 200 majors and minors. Student-faculty ratio is 19:1. Research, internships and student-run media opportunities available. Campus is set around a beautiful arboretum/quad. 300+ student organizations, from Quidditch Club to the Gamma Phi Circus. New, state-of-the-art rec center with rock climbing wall. Located in Bloomington-Normal (B-N), a safe & friendly community of 160,000 people. Home to theater companies, museums, historical sites, art galleries, minor-league sports teams and a 24-mile, multi-use trail, B-N has the same offerings as a larger city, yet it maintains a small-town atmosphere. Uptown Normal, next to campus, and downtown Bloomington, a short bus ride away, have independent shops & unique eateries. Other mainstream shopping and eating options are also available. B-N is a transportation hub with air, rail, and highway accessibility and is 3 hours from Chicago, St. Louis, and Indianapolis.

Plan A
For Plan A U.S. students, aid is awarded by and disbursed from your host campus. Students apply for federally funded financial aid by using the FAFSA code of their host campus. Host campuses award aid to incoming Plan A students on a first-come, first-served basis as long as funds are available. Ask your home campus NSE coordinator if your campus awards aid to their own outgoing students. If so, do not apply for aid from your host campus.
