Campus Is Currently Not Accepting Students

Located in a scenic foothill community, Morehead State University offers easy access to the hiking in the Daniel Boone National Forest, sailing and trophy fishing on Cave Run Lake, and the urban amenities of Lexington, Cincinnati, and Huntington, WV.

Academically, MSU offers 76 undergraduate degree programs, including eight associate level degrees and 12 preprofessional programs in four colleges and 20 academic departments. Morehead State University has a unique Space Science Program, longstanding excellence in its Pre-Med and Music Programs, and extremely high qualifying rates on licensing exams for its Nursing and Imaging Science programs.

Morehead State has an enrollment of 9,000 students and has been recognized for the seventh consecutive year as one of the top public universities in the South in the 2011 edition of "America's Best Colleges" by U.S.News & World Report. MSU is also accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools (SACS).
