Campus Profile

Located in the spectacular landscape of northern British Columbia, UNBC is one of Canada's best small universities. We have a passion for teaching, discovery, people, the environment, and the North.
Founded in 1990, as a university in the north, for the north, UNBC is a growing institution with a current enrollment of 4200 students from all over the world. UNBC offers students a special opportunity to know their professors, have access to excellent educational and research facilities, as well as have a unique chance for outdoor recreation in a typically northern setting.

The main campus sits atop Cranbrook Hill overlooking the city of Prince George and the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Jasper and Banff National Parks are within a few hours' drive to the east.

COSTS: Costs are given in Canadian dollars.

Campus Location - Area attractions include graceful mountain ranges, lush forests, lakes and urban parks, as well as the splendor of two of the province's largest and fastest flowing rivers, the Fraser and Nechako.
