Closed Programs
All upper-division courses (those numbered 300 and higher) in the Lundquist College of Business, which include courses in business administration, accounting, decision science, finance, marketing, management, and sports business, are closed to NSE students. The college of business offers very few lower-division courses.
Limitations
Prior arrangements must be made to take courses in art, digital arts, architecture, interior architecture, landscape architecture, and product design programs.
Music and Dance courses require audition to ensure proper placement in coursework.
Upper division coursework in other departments, including biology, chemistry, psychology, journalism, and mathematics, may require prior arrangements with the department.
Oregon Institute of Marine Biology (OIMB)
The Oregon Institute of Marine Biology (OIMB) provides students with the opportunity to study marine biology on the Oregon coast. OIMB is located in Charleston, Oregon, which is approximately three hours by car from the main campus in Eugene. Courses are taught at OIMB only in fall, spring, and summer terms. There are no courses at OIMB winter term due to inclement weather on the coast. More information about OIMB is available at http://pages.uoregon.edu/oimb/.
Students who have previously attended the UO are ineligible for exchange.
