Campus Profile

The campus is in a beautiful, rural Pennsylvania Dutch community. The region is rich in history and its own brand of diversity, with the Pennsylvania Dutch, as well as sizable populations of Hispanic and African Americans. Located on 325 acres in Kutztown (pop 4500),the University is 20 miles from Reading and Allentown, 90 miles from Philadelphia, and 100 miles from New York City. LVI International Airport is 25 minutes from campus.

Kutztown University offers a well-rounded program of athletic, cultural, and social events and activities to over 10,000 students. Recently completed projects include Dixon Hall, a new residence hall, as well as a new science building and the Alumni Plaza - a park and plaza area providing green space, fountains , areas for recreations and quiet spaces for our students.

For Plan A U.S. students, aid is awarded by and disbursed from your host campus. Students apply for federally funded financial aid by using the FAFSA code of their host campus. Host campuses award aid to incoming Plan A students on a first-come, first-served basis as long as funds are available. Ask your home campus NSE coordinator if your campus awards aid to their own outgoing students. If so, do not apply for aid from your host campus.
