Campus Profile

ETSU offers you the variety of programs found at a large university, but faculty and staff provide the personal attention prevalent in smaller schools. Johnson City is a small, friendly and safe town. Our mountain air is clean and refreshing. International students who come here are happy to be away from the noise found in larger cities. We also enjoy a high quality of life at a low cost of living. Kiplinger ranked Johnson City # 5 in The 10 Least-Expensive Cities for Living in the U.S.A.

THE UNIVERSITY - ETSU is a fully accredited, public institution, and member of the Tennessee Board of Regents universities. Over 115 undergraduate degree programs are offered among Colleges of Applied Sciences & Technology, Arts & Sciences, Business, Education, Public Health, Clinical and Rehabilitative Health Sciences, Nursing, and Medicine. ETSU offers the nation's only four-year blue grass and country misic program. The student faculty ratio is 28:1.

Campus Location - ETSU is located along the western edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains. You will find TVA lakes, Appalachian Trail, ski slopes, mountain rivers, outdoor activities and historic places to visit.

Helpful Information - Once placed at ETSU it is recommended to turn in application materials as soon as possible for quick admission to the University. After admitted to ETSU students will receive an Academic Advisor who will help the student register for classes.
