LSUA is also close to many plantation homes. Of special interest is the Epps House that is located on the LSUA campus. The city also hosts vibrant Mardi Gras festivities each year and the Carnival season is kicked off with LSUA’s own Mardi Gras parade. LSUA is also home to a Rugby team, rodeo team and other sports teams including baseball, soccer, golf, basketball and tennis.
