ABOUT THE PROGRAM:	The Honors College is open to students in any academic major, and it offers the intensive learning environment of a small liberal arts and sciences college within a larger research university. As part of its mission, the DHC fosters both intellectual and civic values: inquiry, discovery, knowledge, and imagination. The DHC also promotes those characteristics of responsible citizens, such as responsibility, community, leadership, communication, and service. Support for instructional experimentation and renewal, and for the best possible teaching and learning circumstances for participating faculty and students is fundamental to the mission of the DHC.
