About The Program: Biology 420, Field Ornithology. All classes are held outside from 6:30-8:30am, Monday through Friday. Students will identify birds by using field characteristics, including color and patterns, songs, habitat preferences and behavior. Students will drive to a variety of habitats at sites near Bozeman. One Saturday field trip to Canyon Ferry Wildlife Management Area is required.

Program Requirements: Prerequisites are junior standing and one 100-level biology course.
